For the last three weeks I have been struggling with a foot that has been operated on.  A lump in the base of my toes which has made walking increasingly difficult over the last twelve months but now it has been removed.  The under gardener has been mowing the lawns and keeping the cottage tidy whilst I have been watching "murder she wrote!"  Now I can say with the stitches out the foot is well on its way to being batter so now I am off to dead head the dahlias!!
